Terrapin Treasures began in 2022, in my home town of Omaha, NE, during a time in my life when I was lost—trying to figure out who I was and what I was meant to do.

I’ve always loved shows like Antiques Roadshow, American Pickers, and Pawn Stars. I used to dream of being a picker—of discovering forgotten things and giving them new life. So one day, I took a leap of faith. I launched an eBay store, and just went for it.

Since then, I’ve connected with estate sale companies, gathered a mountain of knowledge, and sharpened my eye for valuable, meaningful items.

But the deeper truth I found?
There are so many people out there who’ve inherited or collected things—and don’t know what to do with them. I realized I could be the bridge. The one who helps them sell their items with confidence, care, and clarity.

Helping them helped me.
And today? I do this with everything I’ve got.
